Awakening, Single Vineyard
Manufacturer:
Andrew Jefford
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pale greengold. Cool, fresh, cucumber-like scents, with some squeezed lemon. Vivid and bright palate, with some milky depths behind the acidic sheen.
Roger Jones
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Very clean on the nose, but then evolves on the palate to give a multi-layered texture from peaches and cream to a classic rum cocktail due to the pineapple flavours bouncing around. Having said that a lovely clean fresh crisp wine, classic to go with tempura lobster with a touch of lime and chilli.
Alessandro Marchesan
Tasting: Western Australia Chardonnay
Pronounced, clean and intense nose with notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Crisp, citrusy acidity, long grapefruit like aftertaste. Wonderful example of textbook Margaret River chardonnay.
