Rosebank Vintage 1990 is one of the world’s rarest and most prestigious single malts, with only 200 bottles available of this special expression globally. This exceptional bottling retails at US$3,500 and is available exclusively online for a limited time at leclos.net or in-store at DXB.
As part of the 12th anniversary celebrations every Le Clos customer online and in-store, until 30th November, will go into the draw to win one of these exclusive bottles. This Rosebank Vintage was filled in 1990, prior to the 1993 closure of the original distillery. The release of one of the oldest distillery-bottled Rosebank to date marks the impending revival of the distillery to the delight of connoisseurs globally.
Rosebank Vintage 1990 (ABV 48% 70cl) is housed in an ornate bottle which features stunning engraved rose detail and is presented with an authenticity certificate in a red wooden cylinder. This exquisite malt is wonderfully light and delicate with citrus, spearmint and apple aromas, white chocolate and tropical notes on the palate and a crisp rich finish. Renowned as ‘The King of the Lowlands’, Rosebank is the gold standard for the Lowland Single Malt category and famous for its smooth, fruity character and contrasting light but full flavour.
Ian Macleod Distillers acquired the distillery and the remaining stocks in October 2017 and is in the process of rebuilding the distillery and creating a state-of-the-art visitor centre on the original site.
Le Clos has an established reputation for bringing to market some of the rarest and most sought after vintages. Customers who purchase Rosebank Vintage 1990 online will be issued with a certificate from the distillery, and Le Clos will store their bottle until the next time they travel through DXB.
