Bordeaux hosted the 2014 Best Of Wine Tourism awards ceremony on October 14 at beautiful Palais de la Bourse (Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry). This ceremony was the 11th edition since the creation of the contest.
Over 350 representatives of wineries, wine tourism businesses and guests attended this prestigious event, all of them were just delighted by the exciting moment.
Within the some 70 applications received, 16 candidates were selected, amongst which 6 gold Award and 1 Special Jury Awards have been awarded during this great evening. The ceremony was presented by Michel Cardoze, well- known TV speaker and wine lover. A tasting of wines from the prize-winners properties closed the evening.
These awards are a great opportunity to gain visibility and leave the winners with a prestigious image.
All the 6 gold awarded properties are now in competition for the international part of the contest, which results will be announced in San Fransisco ¬| Napa Valley on November 7th during the Great Wine Capitals General Annual Meeting Gala dinner.
