Warren Adamson is to leave his role as UK director at New Zealand Winegrowers to become European sales director for Craggy Range Vineyards.
Adamson has 15 years experience in the wine trade and will have been with New Zealand Winegrowers for four years when he leaves in June.
Of the move he said: ‘I am really proud to have represented the New Zealand wine industry for the last four years.
‘New Zealand wine has achieved a lot in that time and, as an industry, we are in a great position to deal with these challenging times.
‘My new role with Craggy Range pulls together everything I have learned from my 15 years in the New Zealand wine industry and presents the perfect opportunity to return to my commercial roots.’
Adamson will replace Michael Henley who is set to return to New Zealand in July to take up a wine ambassadorial and marketing role for Craggy Range.
