A blend of 82% Malbec and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, that spends 18 months in new and used oak, with a further 12 months in bottle. Deep spicy cassis and blackberry nose, edged with hints of violet and mocha. The palate is an iron fist in a silk glove, combining fine, elegant tannins with smooth, concentrated black fruit, spice and leather, with a long finish. Will certainly continue to evolve nicely in the bottle.
