As the name suggests, this Malbec is grown in calcareous soils in vineyards over 1,100m. Black fruit nose, edged in florals and sweet cedar. Smooth, pure black fruit palate, with well-integrated tannins. Nicely judged oak; well balanced with high altitude freshness and minerality. Full-bodied: pair it with beefy dishes and steak.
