Named in honour of Nicolás Catena Zapata’s father, this good value Malbec is sourced from high-altitude vineyards. Luscious black cherry and blackcurrant fruit pastille aromas are edged with cocoa. Plenty of varietal typicity, with dense, spicy black fruit and rounded tannins, wrapped in a soft cloak of nicely judged oak. Perfect for steak with peppercorn sauce.
