The fruit for this comes from Vistalba, a sub-region located at 990m above sea level in Luján de Cuyo. The altitude of the vineyards may help explain why this isn't an opulent style of Malbec - instead there's plenty of fragrant violet, florals and blueberry fruit, chewy and elegant. The wine spends a year in first- and second-use French oak barrels before bottling.
