A blend of 68% Merlot and 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wines fresh sweet cassis and cherry aromas combine a hint of cool climate leafiness with a cinnamon spice quality. An opulent cassis fruit middle is powerful and succulently softening, although firmish grippy tannins and balancing freshness provide the necessary backbone for continued ageing in bottle.
