Morrisons, Botrytis Semillon, New South Wales, Australia, 2017

This is a late-harvest Semillon from New South Wales of Australia, made in partnership with De Bortoli. Deep gold in colour, the Botrytis-affected wine shows a nose of marmalade, honey, dried apricot with a flinty edge. Partially aged in oak, it's pure and mellow on the palate with dried tangerine peel, apricot and pineapple notes, supported by solid acidity. Marmalade and orange zest notes follow to the clean finish.
