This Australian Aglianico has spent time maturing in oak to soften it out. The nose is lifted and minty with dark fruit and spice aromas. On the palate, raisined fruit is accompanied by grippy fine-grained tannins. The zippy acidity balances this mid-weight wine, which has a distinct meaty undertone. A great wine to match with grilled meats or cheese.
