Aldi has 14 varietal or dominant Sauvignon Blancs and this is the pick of the five new ones – the 2021 Margaret River (£8.99) and 2022 Marlborough (£7.99) options, both released last year under the Specially Selected range but still on shelves, are a touch better. The blue bottle certainly stands out on the shelf, and it exudes youthful pear and passion fruit juiciness.
