New to Lidl's core range, this Chardonnay is perfectly well made, though you might hope for a little more complexity and character as it's being marketed under the Deluxe branding. Still, there's an attractive leesy character, melon and peach fruit ripeness, and a soft, rounded style that makes it an easy sipper with or without food.
