Lidl, Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2016

This should be in stores by Christmas, and I would suggest picking this up at the earliest opportunity. It has a herby, cassis aroma that is typical of Cabernet in this part of the world. In the mouth, there's good concentration of sweet plum and black fruit flavours, with sweet spices and a fragrant vanilla and wood lift. Violet notes come through on the pleasant finish. A more elegant style of Cab that will match well with a variety of dishes.
