This is no elegant Rhône-style Syrah – it's true-blue, old-fashioned Barossa Valley Shiraz. Made by Langmeil from the two vineyards that comprise the wine name, it has dense, brooding flavours of spiced blackberry, liquorice, chocolate coffee beans and black olive tapenade, with charry overtones from 17 months in American oak hogsheads.
