Don't get this if looking for a muscular, concentrated, inky Barossa Shiraz. There's a seductive lightness (yes, lightness) in this expression with the vibrant black fruit, liquorice and stewed peppers flowing with focus and ease through the palate. Top, fragrant notes of violets and oregano, as well as a tail of blood orange and bergamot, contribute to the refreshing pull that offsets the robust tannins and warmth.
