New to Majestic, this is a cracker from Viognier masters Yalumba, whose winemaker Louisa Rose is famous for her skill with the grape. The fruit for this bottling is sourced from seven blocks and whole-bunch pressed before being fermented in a mix of stainless steel and French oak, and aged on lees with regular stirring for 10 months. It's rich and creamy in style, with fat peach and apricot fruit, peach kernel grippiness, soft ginger spice and a lick of salinity. Would be delicious paired with roast chicken. Yalumba is a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia and aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Mix-six price: £14.99.
