Yalumba, Y Series Tempranillo, South Australia, 2019

Yalumba is famous for its Viognier, but likes to experiment with varieties not usually found in Australia – here, Tempranillo (the bull on the front a nod to its Spanish origins). Bright cherry red in the glass, this is a mélange of red and blue berry fruits, easy drinking and made in a youthful style with no oak influence. Try it with simply grilled lamb chops.
