Deep pink in colour, this is wild and pure, full of wild strawberries, thyme and an earthy depth. Vibrant, cherry-laced, cranberry-infused and juicy, while also being fairly structured and savoury with a little funk. Matthias Warnung is a young producer from Kamptal. Having spent time with Testalonga's Craig Hawkins in South Africa and Matassa's Tom Lubbe in the Roussillon, he's brought their minimal intervention mindset back to Austria to craft his own vibrant wines. Fermented with indigenous yeasts.
