New Chapter, Grüner Veltliner, Niederösterreich, Austria 2021

A delicious and characterful Grüner Veltliner from Niederösterreich (mostly Traisental), created by Austrian winemakers Markus Huber and Lenz Moser. Fully destemmed, followed by 8 hours of cold soak before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. A charming nose of yellow apple, ripe peach, acacia blossom and a hint of earthy dried herbs. Saline and mineral on the palate, with lemon and lime zest on the attack, lead to hidden layers of ripe yellow fruits. A touch of spices and honey on the long finish.
