Medium ruby with a light purple hue, the Cabernet Franc from the Danube Plain has a varietal nose of blackcurrant leaf, prune and ripe red cherry, plus a pinch of graphite. Juicy dark plum and cherry liqueur on the palate, with herbal spices, mineral notes follow through. The chalky tannin is soft but present, providing support to the juicy fruits, refreshed by solid acidity.
