Foxtrot, The Waltz Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley, 2014

This is the little brother to the Estate Pinot Noir, with fruit sourced from three vineyards (the waltz is a dance done in triple time, linking nicely to the three vineyards and the Foxtrot name). A third of the fruit is whole-cluster fermented and then spends 20 months in oak barrels, 50% new. It has a touch of VA which adds complexity to the concentrated, vibrant cherry fruit. Delicious purity.
