The Carly's Block Riesling from Tawse is the winery's oldest, planted in 1985, of three single vineyards that are all certified organic. This site is located beside the winery in Twenty Mile Bench. The 2021 is alluring, with aromas of green papaya and petrol, giving it an earthy character. The remarkable concentration of orchard fruit and nectarines creates lively tension with the vibrant acidity and semi-sweet style. The layered texture in the cheeks adds to the excellent complexity and long finish.
