Carmenère can be a bit mean and green, but this one (with 14% Cabernet Sauvignon) is quite the opposite. Made by wine giant Concha y Toro, it's generous and smooth, full of creamy bramble fruit, pencil shavings and fresh menthol and vanilla notes from the oak, plus bright acidity.
