Aldi, Specially Selected, Gran Reserva Pinot Noir, Casablanca Valley, Chile 2019

This easy-drinking Pinot Noir, from Estévez, is made by Concha y Toro from ocean-influenced vineyards in Casablanca. It's not clear what the 'Gran Reserva' alludes to, but it is ripe and well made with with lots of red cherry and floral notes on a soft palate. There's an entry-level 2019 Estévez Chilean Pinot for just £3.99, which is a lighter and leaner but you can't argue with the price.
