Matetic has a reputation for cool-climate Syrah, which it has made since 2001 under the EQ label. Corralillo is its sister label, with the Syrah also from biodynamic vineyards in the San Antonio Valley. This is very youthful for its age, bursting with aromas of blackcurrant fruit pastilles which continue on the pure, dense and vibrant palate.
