Echeverria, No es Pituko Cabernet Franc, 2019

The 'no es pituko' ('it's nothing fancy’) range is vinified naturally and includes a Chardonnay and Viognier as well. Grapes from a single vineyard of 20-year-old ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines are fermented with wild yeast and spend three months on lees. Fresh, sappy aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant leaves, spice and black tea. This is a lively, crunchy red, with soft, rounded tannins, crisp red and black currant fruit, and a lingering fruits of the forest, floral finish.
