Buyer Toby Morrhall and Concha y Toro winemaking genius Marcelo Papa worked together to come up with this exclusive bottling for The Society's Exhibition range. It was made with a third whole-cluster fruit, and the wine spent 14 months in French oak, 15% new. It's not a hugely complex wine but it's so enjoyable to drink, the juicy purple colour in the glass enticing you to take a sip. This is cool-climate Pinot, fresh and aromatic, with ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit, a slightly dark edge and an attractive herbaceousness on the finish. Chill slightly before serving. Voted a 2024 Wine Champion by the Society's buying team.
