For a wine that's made from 80-year-old vines and has a fair few years of bottle age under its belt, this is incredible value and it'll be difficult to find this level of complexity and intrigue, as well as winemaking skill and purity, anywhere else. Its intense meaty, herbal characters may challenge some, but will certainly seduce others. Delicate floral, rose aromas meld with fennel and dried cranberries to create something akin to amaro in profile. It's fairly light-bodied, but there's some structure from fine-grained tasty tannins, and the finish is juicy and fresh. Member exclusive.
