Tesco, Finest Chardonnay, Leyda Valley, San Antonio, Chile 2022

It's 14% alcohol, but this well-priced Chardonnay from cool-climate Leyda is fresh and balanced, produced for Tesco by the accomplished winery Luís Felipe Edwards. It's a commercial style, with round and juicy melon flavours and a hint of vanilla, but it's well made and will find many fans who like a New World Chardonnay but nothing too heavy.
