This skin contact Debit is, Sladić insists, a yellow wine rather than an orange one. Oya Noya is just a nonsense expression, but there is nothing nonsensical about this wine's captivating nature. Made in a rustic older style, it spans one year in 50-year-old oak barrels. It's honeyed and delicious, with gorgeous ginger tones and toasted almond pastry on the nose. The palate shows rich hints of candied pineapple, toasted almond skins and candied ginger sweet spice.
