Korta Katrina has a well-earned reputation for Plavac Mali, a variety that can be rustic and hearty in style; the wines of Korta Katarina cut a definitively polished profile. This wine features from Poštup and Dingač—a core of red fruit aromatics, Mediterranean scrub and dried violets. The palate is dense and layered, with black raspberries and tart Montmorency cherries. There is a tremendous savoury freshness, with white pepper and a lifted acidity at the finish.
