Korta Katarina, Zinfandel, Pelješac Peninsula, Croatia 2019

With plenty of ripeness, this Zinfandel, indigenous to Dalmatia, shows plenty of freshness, sourced from the Pelješac Peninsula—bright notes of wild mountain berries, arboreal aromas, brilliant wintergreen and a savoury, smoky clove. The palate offers tart red berries and blue fruits, buoyed by savoury dried anise and spicy white and black pepper.
