Nobilo, Grk, Lumbarda, Dalmatia, Croatia, 2022

This wine is made in stainless steel from old vines in the sandy soils around Lumbarda, the birthplace and, until recently, the only place where Grk has been grown. The old vines give this wine a real depth and texture. Aromas of honeyed ginger and poached pear feature a quizzical caramel note. The palate is ripe, with peach and candied pineapple fruits. It's rich, fleshy, and still very fresh.
