Rusula is the local name for rosé in old Dalmatia, and this wine from 100% Plavac Mali shows the intensity of this dark-fruited red variety. Skin contact only takes 10 minutes to reach a copper salmon hue, and the aromas are of fleshy apricots and ripe, sweet tangerine. The palate offers raspberry, tart Rainier cherries, and ripe mandarin, with a good fresh crispness at the finish.
