The St Michael concept is a single variety and single plot; this is the best of the vintage for Rizman each year; this Syrah is made in two to three-year-old barrels. The refinement of nuance and elegance is immediately apparent in this Syrah. Floral aromas of violet complement the notes of turned earth, white pepper and gravelly dust. Black cherries and pomegranate deliver fruit first on the palate but are framed wonderfully by a smoky depth of clove and exotic spice box.
