One of the most important white varieties in the northern reaches of Dalmatia is a low-acid variety, so at Skaulj, they do two harvests. The early pick is for acid and aromatics, and the second for riper fruit. This wine is made with no malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and has a few months on the lees. It offers subtle floral aromas with dried white wildflowers and salty sea air—concentrated Meyer lemon flavours, with lemon verbena freshness and briny sea shell minerals.
