Kylie Minogue, Rosé, France, 2019

Singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue is the latest celebrity to launch her own wines. Given her background, you might have expected her to focus on Australia, but instead she has homed in on the south of France, releasing a range that includes a Sauvignon Blanc, a Merlot, this rosé and a single-estate Côtes de Provence rosé. This, more inexpensive rosé is labelled as a Vin de France, as it's made with grapes from various southern regions. It's fairly commercial in style, as you'd expect, but has attractive white blossom aromas, and expressive, crisp red berry fruit. A good party choice.
