Always the most popular of the Beaujolais crus, thanks to connotations with the Gamay grape's floral perfume notes, this is made by Beaujolais specialist Paul Sapin from 40- to 50-year-old selected parcels. Cherry-driven and textural with a musky strawberry sweetness and crisp acidity, enjoy it lightly chilled.
