Château Argadens, Bordeaux Blanc, Bordeaux, France, 2015

From the Dichel family in Entre-deux-Mers, this is a classic white Bordeaux blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon. Apple and lime come to mind initially, which follows through on the palate. There is a nice weight, texture and roundness thanks to the use of barrels during fermentation. The result is a fresh, dry white that works really well with cheeses and richer fish dishes.
