The Wine Society has worked with this estate since the 1980s and this wine is popular among customers, who recognise the value for money on offer. A very decent everyday claret, this has spent a year in second-use and older barrels. it offers ripeness of dark berry fruit, good freshness, and a bit of grip. Uncomplicated and with good typicity.
