Top Bordeaux consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt oversees the winemaking for this juicy and medium-bodied claret. Soft black fruits on the nose, and a hint of vanilla oak from the 14-16 months it spends in French oak after being vinified in stainless steel. Would appeal to those who enjoy a fruitier style of Bordeaux, not so much if you like more earthiness and darkness. Definitely in a lighter style, but holding up well for the age.
