Dense colour, full, quite chunky Médoc fruit. Slightly hard but should soften.

The difficulties of 2013 are well known, but as with the 2007 this is tasting good right now. It has soft red fruits and gentle extraction, with far fewer tannins accompanying the fruit (they think perhaps an IPT of 58, compared to 80 in a year like 2010).This doesn't have the concentration to be truly long-lived, but it's fresh, open, lilting and carefully made.
