Well ordered and polished, with a solid base of fine tannins marshalled around cassis and liquorice laden fruit, if a touch abrupt on the finish.

Forward new oak on the nose with vanilla, powerful black fruits and violets. Rich, flamboyant, concentrated, complex and spicy, with bags of vigour, tight and structured, peppery and long. Shows the character of the Haut-Médoc in the best way. Very, very good.
