The second wine of St-Estèphe's Château Le Boscq has plenty of class for the price. Mainly Merlot with splashes of Petit Verdot and Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc, it's aged in French oak (mostly used) for 12 months. Enjoyable red and black fruit on the palate with savoury, earthy, tapenade hints, grainy tannins and a long finish.
