Good fleshy, spicy fruit of good ripeness. Some complexity to come.

This is extremely dark in colour and feeling, showcasing the potential of Merlot honed on the left bank. Tight tannins abound, and the fruit is well fleshed out, with clear power underneath. A touch overoaked, meaning the finish is a little abrupt.
