Château Penin, Grande Sélection, Bordeaux Supérieur, 2010

A lovely nose, perfumed with concentrated fruits, so much aromatic energy here. This has intensity in the mouth, immediately juicy - almost mouthwateringly so, with blackcurrant flavours at the fore, but also dry with tannins that coat the entire mouth and tongue. This still feels too young with more time needed for the wood to integrate and soften. Great potential though.
