A wonderful nose, so expressive, much more so than any of the others even the 2017 - this feels harmonious and complete - aromatic and fruity with hints of bramble stalkiness. Black Forest gateau, black fruits with hints of dark chocolate on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively, less dense and plush than the 2010 obviously but still with soft and well-integrated fruit flavours. It feels like a good time to drink this, soft and supple - it's not a showstopper but quietly confident and charming on the palate. Less mouthfeel and overall tannic hold and instead juicy, lively and fun in the mouth. Delicious with a menthol eucalyptus linger at the end.
