A little bit closed on the nose right now with black fruits hidden in the background. The palate is smooth and dense, so much fruit power but this is lighter on the tongue, more immediately juicy with more apparent acidity than the 2017. It's still got a lot of life ahead and the tannic structure is a little overpowering at this point but showing good potential and definitely that little bit more harmonious having had an extra year in bottle.
