Château Penin, Natur, Bordeaux, 2017

An autumnal nose, bramble and blackcurrants with sweet spices, cinnamon and cedar notes. The palate is succulent and vibrant - it gives an instant liveliness, a burst of fruit and then settles to reveal a dry texture with well-integrated tannins and a mentholated finish. Really appealing and very drinkable if a little short on the finish. No sulphur is used in the vinification or storage of the Natur wines.
